Hello everynyans I'm khaae [kay]!!

I'm an 20↑ artist from Hong Kong, who's also a uni student in Australia. What once started art as a hobby now turned something I want to take more seriously!I've always loved drawing not only things I like and a fan of, but also illustrations for projects here and there.
Someday I wish to draw for fanzines/zines, games, promotional work- maybe even make my own merchandise... But for now I'll draw as much as I can to further improve my skill!I hope my artwork can inspire you through its vibrant colors. Thank you for sticking around!! ✩

1. Do you do character sheets, emotes, + more...

I have done character sheets, sprites, pixel art, etc. in the past- but for now I want to focus on making more general artwork for my skills before diving into niches for my commissions. (Excluding freelance work!)I'll most likely expand on more specfic types of commissions in the future like ones mentioned in the Q.

2. Any side projects you're working on?

On and off my studies I experimented a lot on building on Roblox using their studio. I learned a lot about PVC textures and a tiny bit of coding (not that much) trying to recreate places from Reverse:1999 and Honkai Star Rail (can be found in my interests page in ABOUT ME)!I'm also currently working on illustrating for a friend's novel series, as well as hoping to finish an animatic I wasn't able to finish a while back. Also want to make some OCs and storylines... wow... I want to do so much....

☔ HOW DO I COMMISSION?

The current commission sites I have available are kirke.social and vgen!
Please send commissions through kirke for now (the best way) as I have no artist code for vgen to use its features yet.

Other commission methods/work inquires may be through Emails and DMs in Discord, and Instagram. Keep in mind I tend to be slow to reply/miss on a few messages on CMs...Payments to my commissions are by Paypal and Stripe, depending on your needs. Please read TOS before you start commissioning!

If you have a clear vision/desired outcome, please communicate with me! Otherwise, commissions will be done in SKEB/surprise me fashion.✩ Finalized artworks will be sent to you in JPEG/PNG format via email for highest quality.
I can also send it through discord/instagram/twitter DMs if requested.• Please save the file or bookmark the email for safekeeping (since I prefer to not resend it if you lose the file)✩ Prices are based in AUD.
Please convert to your currency accordingly.✩ I'm mainly specialized in humanoid character art. Bare with me with your expectations of the work especially if it's outside of my artistic comfort zone... I will do my best!

﹀ ──── ARTIST RIGHTS.

✩ I (the artist) have right to decline/cancel a commission, due to the following reasons:
• Breach of prohibitions (see section PROHIBITIONS)
• The commission is beyond of my capabilities
• I'm in a position where I'm unable to complete your commission (see section PAYMENT TERMS)✩ I (the artist) retain all rights to my artworks, including commissioned pieces. Rights including:
•Showing/promoting my work in its entirety.
(E.g. Ability to share WIPs/previews, to upload on my social medias, to put in my portfolio as sample work, and to put in artbooks/zines.)IF you wish to NOT have the work public or used in any of these ways, Please communicate that with me beforehand. NDAs may cause additional fees depending on request.

﹀ ──── PAYMENT TERMS.

✩ Before starting the commission, Payment is paid in FULL first hand.
If not commissioned through sites Kirke/VGen, Payment is conducted through paypal invoices which are in agreement to these terms.✩ By paying the commission, you agree to NO refunds/cancelations will be issued.

This is unless I'm personally unable to complete your commission due to special circumstances
(see section ARTIST RIGHTS), then a refund will be issued.

﹀ ──── PROCESS & DEADLINES.

✩ A commission takes up from:

• 1-2 weeks (flat colors, standard colorings)
• 1-2 months (full renders, custom illustrations.)

This depends on complexity, other commissions I'm doing, and my real life schedule.
I will notify you if there are delays if there are any issues that arise from workload/personal circumstances.✩ Progress be slower/paused during holiday seasons [especially Christmas-New Years].
I will notify you if I halt/delay your commission temporarily, and when I can resume.✩ I take 5 slots at a time. If slots are full you will be placed in a waitlist!
I will notify you once I'm able to take/accept your commission.✩I discourage deadlines, however if you must have a deadline, please inform me beforehand.
Additional fees may apply if the deadline provided hinders me from finishing your commission smoothly.

Highly recommend not commissioning if you have a rushed deadline.

✩ Personal usage of my work is allowed with visible proper crediting to the artist [@khaaecafe] in respective social media platforms
Eg. profile pictures, banners, phone/desktop wallpapers• Reposting your commissioned work to share with others is allowed, but visible credit to [@khaaecafe] is required.✩ Commercial use must be inquired and discussed with me (the artist) first.
E.g. promotional art for handouts/other, youtube thumbnails, streaming assets and emotes, zine/book covers and or within its contents, artwork in video edits, etc.ADDITIONAL FEES MAY APPLY DEPENDING ON USAGES:
+ 100% of the price of commission (commericial usages)
